Send a Document Scan from Phone Camera

To send a secure message with a scanned signed document, a voided check, a receipt or other such paperwork, it is often a lot easier to click a picture with a phone camera than scan it using a scanner.

1. If you are logged in to your Encyro account, simply tap the orange button with a ”+” icon at the bottom of the screen (or click Compose Message if on a computer.) If you are not signed in, go to the upload page of your receiver. For instance, if you are at a client location and want to take a picture of a whiteboard discussion and send it to yourself, you could open your own upload page on your phone’s browser.

2. To take a photo:

   1. Click Take Photo near the message area.
   2. Then, capture the photo by clicking the round white button towards the bottom of the screen.
   3. Click Use if you like the photo, or Retake to retake it.
   4. After that, give your photo a name and click Attach.

3. To attach a photo, video, or file already on your phone, click Browse Files.

   Your phone will show you various options to attach files, such as to take a photo/video, or to attach one already on your phone.

   You may use any of the provided options.

   Once you select to use the photo or video, it will be automatically attached to your Encyro message.

   Once uploaded, the photo will appear just like any other secure file attachment. You may then send the secure message as usual.
